Thank you for shopping with Ringer Reef Winery. This Shipping Policy explains how we pack, dispatch and deliver orders placed through our online store.
We are based in Victoria, Australia and ship within Australia only.
Because we sell alcohol products, all orders must be handled in line with Victorian liquor licensing requirements and applicable alcohol delivery rules. This may include the requirement for identification to be provided on delivery.

1. Where we ship
We ship Australia-wide.
Some alcohol deliveries may be restricted by law, carrier rules, local requirements or delivery conditions. If we are unable to ship to your address, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options.
We do not currently ship outside Australia.
2. Alcohol delivery requirements
Orders containing alcohol must comply with Victorian liquor licensing rules and any other applicable alcohol delivery requirements.
This may mean:

alcohol can only be purchased by people aged 18 or over

alcohol can only be delivered to people aged 18 or over

valid photo ID may be required on delivery

delivery may be refused if the recipient cannot provide suitable proof of age

delivery may be refused if the recipient appears intoxicated

we may need to cancel, hold or redirect an order if completing delivery would breach our legal obligations
Please make sure someone aged 18 or over is available to receive alcohol deliveries.
3. Shipping carrier
We mainly ship orders with Australia Post.
From time to time, we may use another courier or delivery service if we believe it is a better fit for your order, location, timing or delivery conditions.
Once your order has been handed to the carrier, delivery is managed according to the carrier’s delivery processes, timeframes and terms.
4. Order processing and dispatch
We usually pack and dispatch orders within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday.
Occasionally, dispatch may take a little longer due to unforeseen circumstances, such as public holidays, busy trading periods, supply delays, weather events, carrier disruptions or other things beyond our control.
We’ll always do our best to get your order moving promptly and safely.
5. Shipping cost
Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $15 per consignment.
The shipping charge will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.
6. Free shipping
Free shipping is available for Wine Gang members only.
Free shipping may also apply where it is clearly stated as part of a specific offer or promotion.
Unless stated otherwise, free shipping cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or a discount on another product or service.
7. Delivery timeframes
Delivery times vary depending on your location, carrier services, public holidays, seasonal demand, weather events and other factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee a specific delivery date.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details where available so you can follow the progress of your delivery.
8. Tracking
Where tracking is available, we will send tracking information to the email address provided at checkout.
Please check your tracking link for the most up-to-date delivery information.
If you have not received tracking information, or something does not look right, please contact us at cellardoor@ringerreef.com.au.
9. Local pickup
Local pickup is available from our cellar door, where offered at checkout.
Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before coming to collect it.
For orders containing alcohol, the person collecting the order may need to provide valid photo ID and must be aged 18 or over.
Pickup details, including location and opening hours, will be provided during checkout or in your order confirmation.
10. Local delivery
Local delivery may be available in selected nearby areas, including Porepunkah, Bright and surrounding communities, where offered at checkout or agreed with us directly.
Local delivery availability may depend on your address, order type, staffing, cellar door hours, weather and other local conditions.
For alcohol orders, local delivery must still comply with liquor licensing and age-verification requirements.
11. Extreme heat and weather delays
Wine is a living thing, and we want it to reach you in good condition.
During periods of extreme heat or unsafe weather, we may hold your shipment until conditions are more suitable. This helps protect the wine from heat damage while it is in transit.
If we need to delay dispatch for this reason, we will send your order as soon as we reasonably can once conditions improve.
12. Missed deliveries and collection
If you miss a delivery, the carrier may leave a card, send a notification, attempt re-delivery or make the parcel available for collection, depending on its usual process.
Missed deliveries and parcel collection are handled according to Australia Post or the relevant courier’s rules and procedures.
It is your responsibility to follow any carrier instructions and collect your parcel within the required timeframe.
If an order is returned to us because it was not collected, could not be delivered, or delivery requirements were not met, we will contact you to discuss the next steps. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery.
13. Incorrect delivery details
Please check your delivery details carefully before completing checkout.
If you provide an incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery address, please contact us immediately at cellardoor@ringerreef.com.au.
We cannot guarantee changes after an order has been placed, especially once it has been packed or dispatched.
If an order is delayed, lost, returned or needs to be re-sent because the delivery details provided were incorrect, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping, return or re-delivery costs.
14. Damaged, broken or missing items
We pack orders with care, but we know parcels do have a journey.
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, broken, incomplete or not as expected, please contact us as soon as possible at:

We will review the issue and do our best to rectify it promptly. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement, refund, store credit or another suitable solution.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Lost or delayed parcels
If your parcel appears delayed or lost, please first check the tracking information provided by the carrier.
If tracking has not updated for some time or you are concerned about your delivery, please contact us at cellardoor@ringerreef.com.au and we will help investigate where we can.
Carrier delays can happen, especially during busy periods, severe weather, public holidays or disruptions to transport networks.
16. Subscription deliveries
Subscription orders are shipped according to the same general shipping terms set out in this policy.
Each subscription delivery will be sent to the delivery address linked to your subscription at the time the order is processed.
Please make sure your subscription delivery details are kept up to date through your customer portal or by contacting us before your next renewal.
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent when each subscription order is dispatched.
17. Digital products
Digital products are delivered electronically through our website platform and do not incur shipping fees.
Digital products may be delivered by download link, customer account access, email confirmation or another electronic method made available through the store.

18. Public holidays and closure periods
Orders are generally packed and dispatched on business days.
We do not usually dispatch orders on weekends or public holidays.
During public holidays, vintage, cellar door closures or busy seasonal periods, dispatch may take a little longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and will do our best to keep things moving.
