Ringer Reef Wines

A gold specimen found in the late 1800's by men ringbarking on the property led to the opening and naming of the mine, Ringer Reef. Mining between 1898 and 1911 yielded 550oz of gold. A century on, the Ringer Reef vineyard was established by Annie & Bruce Holm in 1998. It is now a vibrant and evolving vineyard, winery and cellar door that is owned and run by the next generation, Mark and Julie, with Annie and Bruce enjoying a well-earned retirement.

We grow a broad range of varieties, including classics and alternatives, offering a wine list that’s diverse, interesting and food-friendly. All wines are made onsite in small batches, with a focus on quality, balance, and expressing the character of our site. Our winemaking is hands-on, thoughtful and unpretentious.
